INTERETHNOS INTERPLAST ITALY is a non-profit volunteer organization specializing in reconstructive plastic surgery. It is made up of plastic surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other non-medical volunteers who work for free, without any form of remuneration, offering their professional skills, time, and energy.

It was founded in Bologna in 1988 by Prof. Paolo Morselli, who is its president, and since then has organized humanitarian expeditions to developing countries, treating children with facial and hand malformations, people with severe burns, trauma patients, and patients with severe skin tumors. By offering its services free of charge, it enables patients in difficult economic circumstances to access hospital facilities, often representing their only chance of recovery.
