Carlo Orsi fotografo
The exhibition Carlo Orsi Fotografo, held in 2011 in Cavalese at the Centro Arte Contemporanea, was a tribute to the work of one of the great Italian photographers of the 20th century. The exhibition was an opportunity to immerse oneself in the visual world of Orsi, who from the 1960s onwards masterfully recounted the reality that surrounded him.
In the first section, the exhibition highlighted the breadth of the photographer's vision, allowing the public to discover not only his most iconic images, but also lesser-known ones that depict Italian society during a period of great transformation. Among the photographs on display, those related to the world of
fashion, a sector that Orsi frequented for a long time, stood out. Alongside these images, the exhibition also presented a selection of photos that recounted the evolution of Italian design, capturing with his lens the essence of the objects and furnishings that made Made in Italy famous.
The second section featured 43 photographs dedicated to the mountain landscape of Val di Fiemme and Trentino: alpine locations that recur as the backdrop to his advertising and fashion shoots.
